The Seminar on criminal record Law 31/10/2011

Within the scope of the three - year Cooperation Program implementing the Joint Declaration on Cooperation in the legal and judicial fields signed between Governments of Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany, Ministry of Justice on October 31 held a seminar on the Law of Criminal Records.

On October 18, Ministry of Justice, in coordination with Ministry of Home Affairs, held the signing ceremony of the joint circular guiding the duties, powers, organization and staffing of the Justice Department under the Provincial People's Committee and Justice Division under the district People's Committee on State Compensation.

Meeting on evaluation of the performance of the three-year cooperation program in the legal and judicial fields between Vietnam and Germany 11/10/2011

Vietnam Ministry of Justice and the German Ministry of Justice on October 7 have jointly organized the seminar to evaluate the effectiveness of three-year cooperation program (2009-2011) in the field of law and justice between the two countries. Vietnam Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien and National Secretary of Saxon Justice, Germany and European, Wilfried Bernhardt worked as co-chairmen of the seminar.

Discrimination and violence against women in the family is an issue that many countries including Vietnam are expressing much concern. Ministry of Justice and UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) on September 22 have co-organized the fourth legal policy dialogue at Sofitel Plaza under the theme “ Mainstreaming Gender in Law Making and Implementation: The justice sector’s response to Gender Inequality and the Protection of Women’s Rights ”.

The Signing Ceremony was held between the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Supreme People's Court on September 15. Interdisciplinary conference evaluating the result of handling the citizenship dossiers 16/08/2011
