On June 10, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong held talks with Algerian Minister of Justice and Lord Chancellor Tayeb Louh to discuss matters of mutual concerns.

At the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong stressed that, with the traditionally good relationship and similarities in the legal and judicial reform between two countries, Vietnam and Algeria can effectively cooperate to solve the legal issues of each country. Based on the success of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to Algeria in May, the Minister proposed that two Ministries of Justice accompanied by other related agencies should help two Governments review the cooperation activities in all fields, thus modernizes the legal tool to promote trade and investment between two sides.

Highly appreciated the the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in recent years, Algerian Minister of Justice and Lord Chancellor Tayeb Louh said that the legal and judicial cooperation is a fundamental activity for carrying out the mutual cooperation in other fields. He emphasized that the legal cooperation needs strengthening and further developing to intensify the cooperation between two countries.

The two Ministers then witnessed the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Plan in 2016-2017 implementing the MoU between two Ministries.
